Ipas Nepal’s program intervention prioritize intersectional partnerships that integrates into the broader gender equality and social justice, including gender-based violence prevention and response, and women-led climate justice.
Objective:
Ipas Nepal is planning to establish an Automatic Weather Station (AWS) in Tikachaur, Chhedagad Municipality, Jajarkot. The primary objective of this initiative is to collect accurate, real-time weather data specific to the region, which will play a critical role in disaster preparedness and risk reduction. The AWS will support timely and informed decision-making by providing essential meteorological information that can help anticipate and mitigate the impacts of natural disasters. Additionally, the station will serve as a valuable resource for multiple government stakeholders, enhancing coordination and responsiveness in disaster management efforts across the region.
